Using auto buy bot is against steam tos?
I am probably gonna get flak for asking a stupid question. but is it? (i am not intending in using one due to the fact of me being unlucky and getting banned) but yeah. just wondering.

Yes it is against the TOS, if caught all items will be returned/deleted. You won't keep anything.

Not to mention you'll probably lose your account.

Really? will it go back to the seller? or back to Gaben the God?

No idea, but it won't be going to you.

He didn't read, and deleted his comment. You can ignore it.

you know... you could always edit the script files, to make you buy specific items when you press f1 or f2 or f3 etc

Why would you use a autobuy bot? :/

ohhhh it was about steam items, well, it's against the tos and you will be caught (someone already did). Someone got caught and his account and all accounts that authorised his pc got locked as well.

So you should stop using it, trust me.

with the commedity changes u shouldnt even be needing to use a auto buy bot for most valueable things in major games..

Again. It's probably confusing because you think he's talking about CSGO, but he's actually talking about the Steam community market.

Nothing to do with CSGO other than the bot might potentially buy CSGO items.

I don't see how the changes effect anything the OP is talking about.

The OP is talking about a BOT that would AUTOMATICALLY buy items from the Steam community market if they hit X price or something.

It's something that is already done by a few people. That's how knives and whatnot INSTANTLY sell when put up at low prices.

Whoever owns the bot configures it so the bot will automatically purchase X item if it goes under Y price.

So if someone accidentally puts up their knife at $1.98 instead of $198 it will AUTOMATICALLY and INSTANTLY be bought.

Understand?

if u do a major offence they are still trackable, that wont save u. from being a previous (non valve, server admin) i can confirm that & the majority of game server admins function the same way, every single item has it's own unique item ID
