Factory new vs Minimal wear.
Is there actually a noticable difference between these two conditions? I know with knives it's a little noticable but with guns I can't seem to see the difference?

Is it just my settings or what?

Factory New and Minimal Wear can usually be similar.

Think of it like this:
Factory New is 95%-100% covered
Minimal Wear is 85-95% covered

There can be minimal wear skins that do look factory new.

There are also FT skins that look FN
Then there's the icons. I had a field tested Huntsman Scorched with a Factory New icon.

Does anyone know if there is a site or if someone has made a post somewhere which places all the guns of the same name next to each other with images for comparison?

AK Fire Serpent FN
AK Fire Serpent MW
AK Fire Serpent FT
AK Fire Serpent WW
AK Fire Serpent BS

etc?

FT fire serpent looks exactly the same as a fn new, trust me, I had one myself.

The 5/7 Orange Peel fn and mw look identical, but the field tested looks like legit crap

Ill make this short. Some skins can look like the skin grade above it. You can get a FN looking MW. However if you look at majority of the skins. The big difference between MW and FN is the edges of the gun or things like "bolts and sides" Will probably have small scratches. Right away MW looks really good and so does FN. Both are equally good. I myself dont buy FN guns unless its for value or other than the fact that FN is just as cheap as MW.

It depends from skin to skin, on some skins the difference is noticeable, on others... not so much.

I myself ALWAYS prefer to get factory new skins, UNLESS the skin i want doesn't exist in FN.

There isn't because each condition can vary. Some FTs look MW/FN and some look WW

You know what's really confusing?
Are skins that look the same in any condition. (Like the chatterbox galil.)
And when well worn skins are more expensive than factory new and minimal wear skins.

What is with that?
The reason WW skins can be more expensive than FN is simply that there are more FN and fewer WW so demand is higher for the WW
