Is it worth it to buy a knife?

I'm thinking about buying a knife. The cheapest go for around $60. I think it's worth it, and let me tell you why.

I see people buy like 20 keys and get nothing but crap weapons. 20 keys = $100.

I can either just outright buy a knife for $60, guaranteed knife. Or buy a ton of keys and spend $100 and probably not get a knife. Plus, there is resale value. If I bought a $60 knife and didn't want it anymore, I can sell it for $50 on the market fast and get most of my money back.

They're purely cosmetic.

If you are tired of the knife sell it, you can't sell ♥♥♥♥♥♥ CoD tho.

Is it "worth it"?

No.

Not in any practical sense.

Its purely cosmetic and you're paying a large price just to have something cool in a computer game, so other players will see you and think you're cool because you have a knife.

If you're buying a $60, you won't even be "really cool". To be "really cool" you need a $250 knife.

$60 can buy you one really good new game, or several older really good games.

Most people who have money for skins have that for things like that too, why spend money on cosmetic items when you are poor and can't afford even the more important things.
