why does everyone use dust II in competitive?

seriously, as far as i know from experience, only 2 maps exist and/or are used ever. Dust II, and Nuke. thats it. if you tick them off on the map list, you will increase your time by at least a minute. those maps aren't even that good. dust II has tons of camp spots, and Nuke....well, Nuke has some of the worst deathmatch spawning in the game.

Because they're boring people and because they think they're pro when playing it, while mostly on dust 2 it's the biggest noobs who always choose it

Dust 2 Nuke Inferno Mirage Train.On all those maps i can find matches in 10-30 sec.I never have to wait long

dust is a good map to search for. the original one. only takes a few minutes. it's ct sided though. but i did rank up on it

1. It's a good, balanced map.
2. It's easy to find a match on it.

So if it's a quick way to just start playing...queue it. It's that simple.

Original ? Yes, its so overplayed for me and so boring when I want to play casual - Dust 2, deathmatch ? Dust 2 .. those kids on DM and CL can only play this map .. :(

what you mean? it was my first time ever on dust. i've only played it a few times, and it's enjoyable, on both sides.

As far as I know, the big 4 (Dust 2, Nuke, Inferno, Mirage) have been used since 1.6. People feel comfortable using maps that are instantly recognized and virtually the same

yeah. the worst bit is that there is not a single actual letter in your name. and honestly, that's an achievement. i dont know that many unicode icons. i pretty much know cubed, squared and the block one with lots of bits in it. everything else is guess work. i have to put it all on a little txt file and i just copy and paste it.
