Crouching is pretty much iron sights in cs:go, you walk slower, you are more accurate, and you are less affected by recoil.

Including iron sights would just make people want to use them when you really don't need to, all of the new players and people from other shooters would go into fights, use iron sights and then die because they are standing almost still whereas their target is fully mobile, and still pulling off accurate shots.

The main reason why I believe cs:go does not need iron sights is because you simply don't need them, if you can't take down a target at long range, it is not cs:go's fault, it is yours.
