You can also go double agent ace, that's if you kill your team, then the other team and lastly yourself. But this is not recommended if you plan to play the game any longer.
all you need to do is kill all 5 members of the opposing team in a comp match. It doesn't matter if they had taken damage from your teammates...as long as you landed the finishing shots, it counts.
So yes - ace is about killing all the opponents alone, which if happens - ok, but if you wish to force it making sub-optimal positioning decision, rushing when it;s not neccesarily the wisest thing to do - it's counter-productive and should be regarded so even if succesful.

Yes, never TRY to ace...but if it happens, great. I've had rounds that I've aced due to flanking the opponents, catching them by surprise, and really helping my team out. But for the love of god don't rambo rush
I thought all 3 of these rounds were aces. Not on purpose, but they just ended up that way.
