Best at very close range
You don't need to reload

Cons
Price
Shi**y at non close range
People will hate you if it's not round 15 or you are not won 15rounds

Check my CSGO inventory. I have a statrak M249 with 2000+ kills. I love flaming the enemy team when I walk around a corner and mow down 3 of them at once

To expensive and almost useless you can get better guns for half the money. Negev vs eco on certain places on the map I might understand, mainly because its so cheap, on the other hand other guns around same price are also more useful.

Its not always about whether or not you can or cannot kill with it, its about what else you could have bought for the same amount which is a lot more useful.

EDIT: I am saying this from a point of view where everyone knows how to play the game to some extend.. DMG+ at least. If you are good enough and play in gold nova you probably rek half of them, on the other hand, buy a normal gun and win/rank up faster.

Price- No, this is the main disadvantage and why you should never invest on M249.
No- Get the Negev, it deals same damage, its x69 times cheaper and it kills more.
