Technically, pros are NOT the best in the world in reaction speed test. So there is a gap if you go nolife
For me they are somewhat slow, except JW. At humanbenchmark i test myself some months, current 5 click test result 160, 156, 144, 104, 168ms concentrated, unprefired. Historical stats and measuring from youtube in my profile. So if i compare myself as an average casual vs pros, the reaction speed is not what makes them professionals, but hours and hours of mindless grind and training. The same you can do with awp flicks, simply count frames between first visible part of body and the shooting. Possible either from demos or from recordings (both have some acceptable inaccuracy but OK for the needs).
KennyS fastest flicks are measured around 133ms, JW as one of best if not best pro had around 110-140ms with a preaimed rifle (what itself is similar to awping).
(10/10)
aCCORDING TO 3D AIMTRAINER MY SCORES IN 3 TESTS WERE : 103MS, 105MS AND 102MS.

Mine is ~157-168ms on days after good rest, hydrated, and with some food, mid thirties lol...I used to have a slower rxn time of over 200ms (200 is average, mine was like 217 a few years ago). Don't get put on benzos...if you are on them, then getting off them, maybe also = -50ms on rxn time, who knows? :)
Fastest reaction time ever recorded was from a pro esports player, which was 130ms. Anything lower then that is actually physically / biologically impossible, the neurons cannot react that fast in such a situation. Fastest human body can react is like 80ms and that is to actual life threatening situations where your entire limbic system is activated. Think swerving out of the way in a car, to avoid hitting someone else driving who wasn't looking before they pulled onto the road.
The numbers are approximately this for human reaction time:
~17ms for light to get from the optic nerve to the center of the brain for image processing
~30-33ms for neurons to send signals to nerves in the muscles
~80-85ms end-to-end speed for neurons to receive signal and signal back to brain
Not true. Valtteri Bottas has a recorded reaction time of 40ms in 2019 at the Japanese GP. And that is to do something more than just click a mouse button, he launched a whole F1 car in 40ms.
