FPS PROBLEM R9 290

Came back on cs go after a few months just to see the game was stuck on 30fps and I've tried everything possible, fpsmax 0, tried setting the game to lowest quality and it's still the same. I don't know what it is but this game has personally troubled me too much and it's really annoying Every other game works like butter but this game is the only one that's causing trouble, Any help? Anyone else with the same issue? Thanks in advance.

One fix for some people is turning off dvr on the xbox app

xboxapp > settings >game dvr > tick dvr off

Same here but the only thing that has happened to me is that i get a 30fps lock in the main menu for some reason after the update it goes back up to 500fps when alt tabing but really strange still

it disables game dvr and removes the xbox app.
it helped me with stuck fps. performance is still ♥♥♥♥ tho.

I did that already and it's getting really annoying. I turned vsync on and the fps went up to 60 but it doesn't go beyond that no matter what i do man. it's really annoying :\

But what has the xbox app to do with csgo can u explain?

No idea actually, back when the anniversary update for windows 10 was loaded a bunch of people were having fps issues and the DVR thing apparently helped them out.

Well you want vsync off, try updating your drivers

I had vsync off and it gave me 30fps and with vsync on it was on 60fps lmao. Anyway, the problem has been solved. I turned Xbox DVR on and off and it worked. back to 300fps life

BRO, read what i said before. I WAS GETTING 30 FPS WITH VSYNC OFF and when i turned it on i got 60 fps. That means MY VSNYC WAS OFF AND HAS BEEN OFF.
