Yes, that only takes effect after you restart your pc.
If it still "restarted" by itself then try disabling the paging file entirely
Click on start > type in "advanced system settings" > look at performance, and select settings > Advanced > Virtual Memory, click on "change" > uncheck "automatically set" so you can edit them > Select your windows drive letter (usually C) > Select "No paging file" > Restart
Does it still restart?
This should bypass even my fix (and if you enable / disable, this is also how you remove that "trojan" setting)
If everything still doesn't work, then uninstall the drivers from your system entirely (from the mouse / keyboard / headset / other thing you have, then simply take out the usb from each, and put them back in so they "reinstall" fresh).
You can drop that extra 'o' from the word 'lose', that's my advice.
seems that fix was only temporary, you might want to reinstall your os (I know how bad this sounds), but your pc shouldn't just restart like that.
After you reinstall it, immediately disable automatic updates. After install your drivers manually (do not use programs that automatically install them as they might install wrong drivers, as in my case once), after install chrome / steam and your fix... should go away.
Now, if you don't want to reinstall your OS, try disabling the paging file entirely (it's on the first reply on page 3)

people having the same issue as you, do you only have usb 3.0 ports?
then do it like you see in the tutorial, if you don't understand the tutorial, read it again, if you still don't understand it, read it again.
I don't know what tutorial you're talking about, but how you disable windows updates in windows 10 is as easy as downloading a .reg file (a trojan again) and restarting your pc, after which, it will tell you that your "update settings are managed by your group policy" or something like that, and you can still do MANUAL updates if you want to, but no more automatic updates.
oh really? What virus?
that "trojan" is not meant for your problem (csgo not starting), I didn't reply to your topic because I couldn't figure out what kept you from starting the game.
