Noob Question

Just got csgo and only played with bots, my question is When i play how do i equip weapons ?. I usually only have a pistol, knife and pliers. Can i not play with rifles,smg's etc until i have earned them and is the weapon equip system the same as playing online ?

umm... press B while at the beggining of the round in spawn.. and buy weapons

In casual and competitive you hit the b key and it pops open the buy menu. You can buy weapons and nades with money earned from previous rounds from getting kills and planting the bomb.

Don't usually play these sort of games, just wanted to try something a bit more competative, i will obviously die alot to start with but hey ho :)

Now that's the spirit! At the beginning of each round press the B key (default) to open the buy menu to buy weapons with cash earned in previous rounds. You can only equip a maximum of 1 primary weapon (rifle, shotgun, machine gun, SMG and sniper) and 1 pistol at a time. You can also buy and hold up to 4 grenades at 1 time.

PRESS "B" "b" FOR BALL PRESS "B" AND THEN YOU CAN SELECT YOUR WEAPONS

To pick up a gun off te ground you must first have an empty slot for that gun, so if you want to pick up a rifle you must either not have anything in your primary weapon slot or throw that weapon away before you can pick up that rifle. Same thing with pistols. You can pick up any grenade as long as you don't already have that grenade (except flash bangs, you can carry up to 2 of them) and as long as you have less than 4 grenades on you in total.
