Both are the same,streched but the aspect ratio of 1200 one is 1,3333333 and the other one is just 1,3

Both are 4:3

And you get more fps with 1170*900 than 1200*900

to get the best 4/3 presentation use the native height and multiply that by 4/3

that gives the best horizontal resolution (native as long as not stretced) by not distorting

use of 1170x900 would slightly distort the presentation

i would need to use a different resolution and i have

pixel size in flat panels have a set size and use of a native resolution that matches that resolution will always give a better image

its just math

the difference can be hard to see but is there

i never said it wont work its just best to use a resolution that is native to the pixel size of the monitor so the presentation is optimal

go out and look for standard resolutions for monitors and you wont find 1170x900 as a standard because that would distort the presentation

In my old laptop from 2014 that resolution appear to me And There is no distorsion in the presentation...

I played Payday 2 at that resolution (played like 75/100 h like that),not regretting It but unfortunately the written chat was unreadable so i had to increase it
