Why my win didnt count

I just played a game of competitive and I popped off and we won, but for some reason it doesn't show that the game counted, and I am currently new to ranked where I get cooldown

It dont count if anyone on your team was cheating or the enemy team .. then the whole match is nullified as if it was not played at all !

Valve just need to get better to give back the lost & gained ranks on it though !
Thats the major issue with it .. people dont get their ranks back if lost to a cheater !

What are you talking about, if someone on his team was cheating and they find out afterwards they just remove xp points, if someone cheats they are not gonna discount xp and game right away, that's not how it works, you probably misunderstood what he wrote

Yes, if someone on your team was cheating they let you know and reduce xp you won that match, if someone on opponent team was cheating they let you know if you reported him, not sure why your game didn't count, it should have, maybe you disconnected too soon before game ended and basically you weren't counted as part of the team since game took you as abandoned and gave you cooldown, I assume thats what happened

ok cuz I was not let known about any cheater and the people who popped off that game were me and my duo who we both dropped around 30 and neither of us are banned

No i played the whole game out, but the game before I disconnected mid game for 1 round cuz my sound wasnt working, but I got the win for that

Are you sure you didn't play an unranked (non-Prime) game? That would explain the win not counting. Check to see if the game is listed under Scrimmages on your Personal Game Data page.

meaby you left game too quickly. you need to leave match after it really ends not 10 seconds before ;)
