It's not a scam, you knew what you were getting and got exactly what was promised. It was a very stupid trade though

Just because it does, that doesn't mean its a good skin. Its like a trash car with some nice rims . Its cool to be there but looking at everything else, its not that nice. Check the recent sold of the m4 skins on buff with titan holo.

A sticker by itself may be valuable but on a gun it is only valuable if the buyer values it on that gun. Why would someone overpay for a gun because of a sticker when other options are avaiable? Hopefully this wasnt too expensive of a lesson for you

Because you bought it having no clue what its value was. You may have just given away $600 to some stranger for all you knew.
It would help if you at least gave some details. Which skin is it? What's the condition? What position is the sticker in? Is it scratched at all?
