How to change the Desktop resolution automatically after starting CS:GO
Hello,

I am playing CS:GO on a Resolution of 1280x1024 And have to change the resolution of my Game from 1920x1080 to my CS:GO resolution to tab in faster and things,

NOW MY QUESTION: Is it possible that the Desktop resolution changes automatically to 1280 x 1024 after i start the game?

I have an AMD Card if that matters

use -w and -h (width and height) in launch options
example:
-w 999 -h 999 to set resolution 999x999

I think you didnt understand what i mean, at the moment i am setting it customly every time before i start Cs but that step should be automatically because my game sets to my desktop resolution automatically

No, unfortunately not. But its not a problem anymore. I just start Csgo, its set to 1280x1024 automatically in settings, my main desktop still is on 16:9 when i tab out.

Did you find a solution?

There sure are programs that will set your res to what you set it after you start the game you have to search it up, but you could also set your desktop res to the one you use ingame everytime before starting the game, so you can tab out faster and and and
