well 400 its not by far the best DPI I never did say such a thing, but its commonly use from most people and it fits for most of the people with combo of sens where sens need to be calculated in order to get flawless head tracking
Also, someone has said from 350 to 1600 this is wrong both 350 must be from minimum 400 and maximum 800 every dpi above 800 will start jump pixels at 1600 rate almost not noticeable, but its a fact known for some especially those who are in the business of creating mouses
It's also not important to use 400 dpi in order to calculate the DPI you need. You simply just multiply your DPI with your sensitivity for your EDPI because that's the important setting you're looking for.
