I train on training_aim_csgo2 for about 15 minutes, then I go on deathmatch for 2 rounds, and at least 2 times I week I train Smokes and Flashes for all the maps you even have training maps for smokes, molotovs and flashes.

I matchmake solo or with a team of 3 all of which have 3-4 times the hours... With my training I'm currently the highest rank, and I'm better then all of them.

You know how football and baseball teams or whatever sport you like has training camps and they do warmups and practice before they play games? That's what you do with this game. You have the fundamentals down, "Practice practice practice" now just go do it.

I train on silvers. Well tune up to be exact, with my comeback nearing. Went 16-0 last night. Training maps are ok for getting used to the gunplay, but you gotta play against humans for the real thing.

In the end the game is just entertainment.Your not gonna get laid and make a ton of cash playing csgo.Don't worry too much about being the best and just have fun with the game.

1 hour of ffa a day and a bit of bhop/surf
If you want to improve (or learn) tactics, there is no better way than watching profesional players play. If you want to improve your aim (and spray controll), go find yourself an aim training map.

My personal suggestions:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=368026786 (for aim)
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=213240871 (for reflexes / flick shots)
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=419404847 (to practice spraying)

Hope this helped you out mate, have a good one :)

This ^.

As for tactics, watching pros is all well and good but you need to be able to apply it. For that, I recommend retake servers. They let you defend or retake a site over and over in a short period of time.

You can also try surf servers to help you improve movement and x-hair placement

First get used to game mechanics and principles.
When you feel that you are comfortable with it, try recording some demos of your gameplay and then watch em.
Look at your faults and try to understand what caused it. (Hint: dont try to blame others, we both know its your faults)

Common problems:
1) Lack of game sense - you dont know where you should go, what you should buy, when to throw nades, and how to find your enemies? Play more games in casual mode.

2) Bad aim - get your sensivity and dpi settings and play aim/dm and 1v1 servers more. (Iv been using 3k-5k dpi with 0.1-0.5 sensivity for years, guess what? setting dpi to 800 with 1.5 sensivity bumped my kda x2)

3) poor communication - just play more and try to note what other players say...try to remember callouts (names of spot on maps). Set up your mic properly. Get some mates.

4) Dont let ranks to ruin your fun! Play for fun not for ranks, otherwise you will be tilted by fails, that futher affects you efficiency. Instead of getting engry about smurfs and cheaters try to beat them. You will fail, but it will teach you how to deal with them, and increase your skill.
