Mouse sensitivty and which is best for YOU
Mouse sens is personal preference to a certain point! I mean you cannot choose a ingame sens of 20 with 6400 dpi and say ''but its personal preference bro'' xD it doesnt work like that.

YES it is personal preference but to a POINT! and after this point it gets silly and you get inconsistent!

the max eDPI you should use is 400 dpi and 4 in game sens = 1600eDPI (or 800 dpi and 2 in game sens)

You work out eDPI simply by this simple equation IN GAME SENS x DPI = eDPI

The minimum you should use is 400 dpi and 1.2 in game sens which = 480 eDPI

Here is the spread sheet of every pros sensitivity and eDPI to give u a better idea , as a bonus you can also see their screen res and other info

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UaM765-S515ibLyPaBtMnBz7xiao0HL5f-F1zk_CSF4/edit#gid=1762004852

Mouse sensitivity is personal preference BUT in the boundries of between 480 / 1600 eDPI this is a massive gap between high sens and low sens and anything between these should be something for everyone. Any lower than these settings or higher will result in movement loss at lower sens and at higher sens near misses all the time!

Also at higher sens (higher than 1600 eDPI) you're relying solely on flick shots as it will be very hard to track accurately with anything above 1600 eDPI

to give you an example of how fast 1600 eDPI is are below
I used this website to calculate my findings
http://www.notalent.org/sensitivity/sensitivity.htm

Below is a list of eDPI sensitivities based on 360 degree turn

1600 eDPI = 25.9 Centimeters Per 360 so you only need to move your mouse 12.95 cm for a 180 degree turn to check your 6 which is very fast! You could play with this sens on a 14 cm mouse pad xD

for 480 eDPI = 85.7 Centimeters Per 360 so you would need 42.85 cm just to do a 180 degree turn (as you can see movement is restricted and these sensitiviities might be better for a holding awper at this low of a sens). For this low of a sens you would need an extended mouse pad of over 43 cm in width so you could swipe to see your 6 any less than a 43 cm mouse pad and you wont be able to turn quick enough you would need to use a bind to turn 180 degrees.

I use 0.9 in game sens X 800 dpi = 720 eDPI = 58.1 cm Centimeters Per 360 degree turn = 29.05 cm for a 180 degree turn . i use a 44 cm width mouse pad which gives me a lot of leeway either left and right when I do a 180 degree swipe. Hope this helped u guys and girls out! (Rank Global Elite).

I have 4 sensitivity and 1200PDI, and im Global elite, with mouse acceleration too.

It doesnt matter. Just use whatever you want, and youll be good.

Hey this is just advice and like the hodge twins say ''DO WHAT EVER THE ♥♥♥♥ YOU WANNA DO''! XD
Used to be 6k dpi but now I have 3I dpi with 1.89 in-game sensitivity
I use 4.5 in game and 1700DPI on my mouse lmao

wish i could find the link where a member of envyus proved that low cpi can cause pixel skipping. i use 2500 cpi and sens 1.2
it doesnt matter which dpi you use you can use 1600 dpi too as long as it doesnt go past 1600 eDPI so using 1600 dpi you would use 1 in game sens :D
What about windows sensibility ? Does it interact in game ?

I heard strange rumours that it eeirly can! You gave me goose bumps.
There isn't a "max you should use", the ♥♥♥♥ are you talking about? I regret training myself to get used to a lower sens, I did much better on 1600dpi at 10 sens. than I do now with 800 and 1.7 respectively.

I started on 6400 dpi with 1.5 sens when I first started to play CSGO and I can honestly say there is not a chance I would have gotten to Supreme / Global Elite with that sensitivity it was just way too inconsistent! now hear I didnt say it was bad or good it was ''inconsistent''!

There is a difference between the 2

When I used high sensitivities like mentioned above I would have one amazing game where I'd be top fragger then 10 really bad games! there was no in between as with high sens you're relying soley on your muscle memory which can only bring you so far.

With lower sensitivities you have a more consistent aim and DO NOT rely SOLEY on muscle memory it removes the inconsistencies of a high sensisivity.

I too would perform unbelievably ''SOMETIMES'' with high sens more so than with low sens

The question is would you rather perform awesome ''SOMETIMES'' or perform good ''ALL THE TIME'' I prefer the later as it makes me more consistent and CSGO is based on consistencies.

Only a very very small percentage of the worlds top 500 CSGO players in the world have a higher eDPI than 1600 (I would say around maybe 7 players of which we have never even heard of and never will) and there is a reason why this is because the higher u go in level the lower sens is better dont take my word for it check out the top 250+ csgo players and their eDPI and u will see for your self https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UaM765-S515ibLyPaBtMnBz7xiao0HL5f-F1zk_CSF4/edit#gid=1762004852

Remember inconsistent and better are two different things

I wuld put my money on a Global elite with lower sens than a Global elite with stupidly high sens (not saying the higher sens will never win) am saying that the lower sens will win overall cause of consistency :D

Hmm, yes, you're right. I'm more consistend with the lower sensitivity. I consistently suck.

Hmm, yes, you're right. I'm more consistend with the lower sensitivity. I consistently suck.

It is psycological do not forget that! also your enemies are evolving and also getting better everyday too!

Try to concentrate on your game and your game alone and do not forget that aim is NOT the most important thing in CSGO I maybe Supreme / Global but my aim is not that great. There are many other variables which make u a great player that are way more important than aim!

1. Suprise (In any kind of warfare or online game mimicking it. Element of suprise is the best weapon and is always number 1) !
2. Team work (it is a team based game)
3. Deception (fakes)
4. Map sense
5. Game sense
6. Position
7. NOT over peeking
8. Patience
9. Temperament
10. Aim <----------

Changing your crosshair / resolution / sensitivity just because you bottom fragged one game is the thing most people turn too instead of re watching their own replay and seeing the mistakes they made and to plug the leaks that are causing them! And I'll put money on it that it is one of the 9 things i mentioned above aim that is the culprit and not aim alone cause if you did the other 9 things perfectly then aim should come naturally and you should have an edge in the fire fight cause of following them.

The game is based on small edges and each persons play style is unique and you have to find what play style suits u best whilst playing with ur team!
