EXPENSIVE STICKERS ON CHEAP SKINS

CONTEXT

I spent the last days searching for a gift for my birthday, when i saw a 50$ skin with Katowice 2014 stickers worth 1000$, selling for 250$ on the market I decided to buy it to trade it to some random collector in china for a knife and get some profit from it.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THAT??

Well I searched in google if stickers add some value to a skin and it says that they add like 10 to 30% of stickers value to the skin. And if the skin is 50$ and you add stickers value is the price they are selling it on the market.

So, I need to know if i can take profit buying it and trading it to a random collector in china or its a bad idea and i will lose money?

awful deal bro, don't buy it. katos are different to normal stickers as they are so expensive they only add 1-5% value of sticker, not 10-30% unless it is something insane

every kato skin is worth something different also, depends on popularity of gun, how nice it looks, how rare it is, there is no set sticker % for katos they are all different depending on multiple factors

If you wanna flip things like that,you really have to be aware of kato14 crafts theme. There is many sources with skins tier,rarity and value added from kato14 stickers. It's a big topic,so probably if you just do like you said you would fail. It's very important to check skins crafts prices on large marketprices(outside steam),there is many different offers with more accurate prices than steam market. I hope that helped

Top of my head those stickers should add roughly 25 euro on skin ~~~~ asuming it's a old skin ofc.

For 250euro u can get a old ak with 4 katowice 2014 paper stickers. And probably have 150 euro left to spend.

I am sorry to tell you that this stickers dont work like that...

The overpay it's no just a %, there a lot of things that change the price, like:
The weapon, the skin, the position, theres a sticker combo?, the "age" of the skin, etc etc.

So, ur "plan" will not work

Also i saw ur other post "IS POSSIBLE TO TRADE A CHEAP SKIN INTO A KNIFE?"
Same answer, no. at least not now, with tradelock, u need to wait 7 days to trade again.
