Airpods audio input/output issues only with CSGO

I've been using my Airpods in combination with Nahimic's max treble setting to get the same audio "advantage" found with normal gaming headsets for about a month now. But suddenly a couple nights ago my voice communication suddenly stopped working. It wasn't even in between sessions. It was the same session, just a different match. It hasn't worked since, and I can't seem to get voice through my laptop mic either.

Then yesterday my audio through the airpods has become drastically lower quality. I managed to fix it once by flipping through devices on the audio menu, but it broke again awhile later.

I'm unsure what is causing this, the airpods have worked perfect the entire month's worth of gaming until now. And the issue is only occurring on CSGO. It's noteworthy that the laptop mic isn't working either of course.

I have tried verifying integrity, no luck there.
