Best headphones for CSGO and music
Hello, guys. I am looking to buy a new headphones.
Now I have HyperX cloud core. They are still good but but very worn (the ear pads are worn out, the headboard is worn to holes)

I choose between Logitech G Pro(X) and Steelseries Arctis 5 2019.
Which one is better?

For csgo it basically doesnt matter. When it comes to games what matters the most is the software, how the game handles directional sound etc.

For music its often a preference thing, especially if you are on a budget. Some have more lows some more highs some more bass etc.

In terms of sound quality what matters alot is the impedance, the higher the better the quality of the sound. Most gaming headset sit between 30-40 ohm. Studio quality ones can reach up to 800 ohm or so.

The arctics 5 has an impedance of 32 ohm, the logitech g pro 35 ohm. Thats barely a difference.

I own the logitech g prox and I find the quality okayish, the Hyperx I had before was better. But that depends how much you are into music and how much nuances you pick up.

Since I had good expirience with hyperx and the current cloud 2 version has an impedance of 60 ohm it seems a good pick for the price.
I'm not audiophile at all.
Just for chilling and vibing.

Do you know the number of ohm in HyperX cloud alpha S?

Razer head sets for gaming arent that good imo .
Last one broke pretty quick ( blackhawk v2 G ) which is prob just random but the quality wasnt all to great. Steps werent as clear as you wanted, the bass was lacking.
I got a cheaper Steel series Arctis 1 now which is prob just as good.
For music listening Ive always used Sennheizer, I dont know about their gaming head sets but the audio ones are really good.
Currently I have a HD599 ( amazing bass and detail ) and an older HD205 ( o.k but medicure compared to 599 ) , the quality diffrence is pretty big which you do see in the pricing.

They will break no matter how careful you are with them and once the warranty runs out support is shocking...My pro with dac was 2 days out of warranty and they said I should by a new set and offered me a £10 off the online store lol.
The pro wireless both sides broke at the same time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyEH2nZA0Fo&t=60s.

In my experience, and I've had most better brands (Sennheiser, Logitech, ASUS and so on), Logitech would be the safe choice. Bought two arctic ones myself though, and they're fine but not Logitech. Edit: My best headphones by far though, were of the ASUS brand with amplifier and shizzle. They cost around 250dollars at the time. I have Razer Kraken Tournament edition now and they SUCK
