Weekly rank up reward question, help?

You get a skin drop for ranking/leveling up once per week. However, do these level up rewards eventually stop being rewarded once you hit level 40? Or can you prestige back to level 1 in order to receive level up rewards each week? Here I am at level 11 with 4900 XP not wanting to play because I want to get a level up reward for each level. Am I wasting a potential level up reward by leveling up more than once in a week? Or is it smart to wait so I can secure the level up reward when the week resets?

they used to be really good. now its honestly better to get a new crate than a skin

even coins used to give drops after each mission now it's just stars to buy a drop

You get a reward for leveling up once per week, doesn't matter how many levels you gain during one week.

You can level up to lvl2 today, tommorow to level 3 and next week you will get reward for level 4.

You don't waste anything and after level 40 you get a service medal for current year and back to level 1

Thank you gamer. Yea i know you can only get the reward once a week but I was just worried about how the level cap would effect the weekly reward. Since you get a service medal and go back to rank one, it doesn't matter. That's the info I was looking for so thank you again for the help
