Why is this game so much easier on 1280x960 compared to 1920x1080?

Tapping feels crisper, spray transfer feels immaculate on 1280x960. On 1920x1080 I need to change how I grip the mouse a bit because the sens feels different. I guess there's a reason why almost no pros use 1920x1080.

I don't see this resolution on my laptop. Closest is 1280 x 1024.

How do I get this resolution???

Install your graphics card software and make a custom resolution
1280x1024 Is a 5:4 res

It's 4:3 resolution

game less laggy, bigger models, less crap on screen, steady fps, mouse is "faster" cuz enviroment turns faster

its basically the same res, you dont need to change it for x960 if youre comf with x1024. many ppl and pros play on x1024

You have more fps and less fps drops. That is why aiming etc. feels smoother. fsster, crispier and easier on that resolution. And yes, that is why nearly all play with it. Even when they have 500 fps with full hd resolution already.

Fl0m is a great example, played with full hd for a long tile and just recently switched to the low resolution amd he plays so much better and actually was a bit angry at himself why he didn't do it earlier.

You can type it in your launch options or in your video.txt.

You need change your mouse dpi to new resolution.
Because dpi means dot per inch
You can use this

X = new dpi
(Old Dpi) * (old screen resolution) = X * (new screen resolution)

{ (Old dpi) * (old screen resolution) } / new screen resolution = X

So, ...its more about skill, than resolution.
