[BS] AK-47 Redline w/ iBUYPOWER | DreamHack 2014 x2 is it worth it?

Is it worth, if i buy this AK with these 2 stickers, which price is ≈200€ for 30€?

that's a horrible gun

the appeal of the redline is in the skin but only when it's clean

a redline with bad visible wear is truly an ugly sight

if you're going to get an ak redline, at least get an 0.15 or higher EDIT: sorry, i meant or lower not higher

^ That's a very good opinion.

Sure, the stickers themselves are relatively expensive, even if it's just DreamHack and no Kato.

- But, it's DreamHack and not Kato.
- A sticker that's been applied to a gun loses a lot of it's initial value.
And if the gun itself has no value, nobody will ever be tempted in finishing this craft.
Especially when talking about Redline in BS condition, it's absolutely horrendous.
That ruins the sticker-overpay potential.


But that's just my personal opinion solely based upon the "investment value" of it.
Yet again if you personally like it, don't let anyone get into your head and buy whatever makes you happy :)

no that is way too much overpay for those stickers on a battle scarred redline

the redline isn't really my cup of tea

but if it was, i'd get a clean field tested (by clean, i mean 0.15 or better)

then i'd apply x4 stockholm furia holos (stockholm > antwerp because the stockholm furia is around 10% larger)

then i'd go to a workshop map that changes your viewmodel/gun hand and choose a view that makes the ak bigger/closer from player PoV, and i'd switch to left hand

that way, all the furias will be be facing the barrel, and the stickers will be even larger than default due to the changed view model

EDIT: left hand will feel unnatural at first, but you'll adjust very quickly

EDIT: i'd also pair it with a phoenix agent, because they come with full fingered all black leather gloves

i agree with everything here

the fact that they're dreamhack is crucial too, if they were kato ibp papers instead of dreamhack, then x2 would be a desirable gun (even in bs), and obviously it would cost a lot more

but dreamhack is just... so lacklustre, yes, the colors are a spot on match with redline, but the ibp logo itself is so freakin tiny on dreamhack... just no

There are field tested versions of that for sale for under $30. Bad deal.

Save up & get a ft 4x, that would be my advice, smth tells me u gonna regret buying a Bs 2x to use as playskin.
The scratches are insanely visable, everywhere, not only on the mag.

I think it’s a bad deal, if you are looking to potentially trade it down the road. However, if it’s a skin you like, and will enjoy playing with, then go for it, if it’s within your budget of “I don’t care about this 30 euro”. Also, if you are looking to get into trading, avoid steam trading forums, since most people, generally, trade only for profit. Very rare instances where someone just wants to trade at loss, but for a skin they like, or even trade.
