Better game performance on laptop power saving mode

Hello everyone! Can anyone help me with my problem. Im have lenovo 330 with amd 530 and intel 620.

I've set the performance of my laptop on high plugged it in and started cs. When i play 720p lowest without the power saving mode i get 60-120 FPS but the game is stuttery and laggy.
however if i turn ON power saving mode game goes to 58 fps but its smooth and brilliant. Like the stutters and lags are very rare and the game becomes playble. Can anyone suggest on why this is happening and maybe someone encountered this..?

The power saving mode locks the maximum fps to 60 fps. And I think If you lock your fps to lower numbers, your game's delay would be lower. It's probably because of that.

I actually set 60 fps limit throught console with the power mode off. And the game was lagging so bad. However power mode makes it A-okay

you can achieve better results (probably) if you put it on performance mode but then cap the max fps to something sensible, like 90 fps for example.

Just a guess. On high settings your laptop overheats and drops in performance, where as with power saving mode its more.stable. I would suggest to if you can play on a very low resolution and a bigger screen this should compensate potato laptop a bit.worked for me
