Why do people hate on the P90?

Its a good weapon but its overpriced for an smg, it's better to buy a galil, much cheaper and better for long range

The gun is actually very good but like SL1CER said its accuracy is really poor and it's overpriced for what it is. It kills faster than the m4 in close range and even in longer ranges it kills in half a second in the chest. So basically if you get a headshot you will kill faster than a rifle. But that is nearly impossible unless you are right next to the guy.

It is good because you don't have to learn a recoil pattern and can move while shooting. And at low ranks other people aren't good at hitting moving targets. But it is a crutch, and when you get to higher levels of play they will 1-tap you with AK even though you are zig-zagging. P90 is basically a rifle, it has 300$ kill reward, cost 2350 which is like an eco rifle.

People hate on it because it's a definition of a noob gun.
People can just mindlessly run and gun with the p90 and still get kills. People who use that gun for the most part don't know ♥♥♥♥ about spray control, holding angles, crosshair placement etc.
The only thing you need to know about the gun is to just aim at the chest and let the recoil do it's thing...thats it.

The P90 is, like the Bison, an SMG with a huge mag. Because of their inaccuracy it's easier to spray with them than to actually aim for the opponents head. This means that "P90 noobs" often do not learn how to aim or to control the spray and also often run 'n' gun. This makes it harder for them to learn how rifles work and they just stick with the SMG, which are unusable against players at higher ranks.

TLDR: Stereotypes are that silvers run around spraying with P90's and kill the DMG silver smurf

Only people with no clue buy it beside a mp9/mac10/ump.
