Question for HyperX cloud 2 users

Are there any drivers I need to download? Just bought this headset and I dont seem to have the 5.1 option in the audio settings.
I think it has to do with the drivers.

What do you mean? HyperX cloud 2's have 7.1 surround sound. Do you mean the 5.1 in csgo?

Also yes, the latest HyperX cloud 2 driver is 0010. If you don't have it, heres the link.

1. You use the USB extension, that extension has the 7.1 button on it.
2. Don't use it, it's pointless and useless. Stereo with hrtf is far better.

theres no driver for it,
to get 5.1 u've to plug ur 3.5mm audio cable to other soundcard not the hyperx soundcard (usb) for example a soundcard from ur motherboard and then setting it to 5.1 in realtek,asus etc etc
i recommend u to use extra 3.5mm splitter cable like from ur old headset so u can use ur mic on it.. mine using my old siberia v3 splitter cable

Thanks, so is it supposed to not show me 5.1 in csgo audio settings unless I download the drivers?
I hope it will work when I get home and try it.

If so how can I do that? (I have a Lenovo ideapad)

Is the 5.1 audio setting supposed to show in csgo even without changing my sound card to 5.1 or will it not show the option unless I set it to 5.1?
And does changing the soundcard to 5.1 changes the computer sound? If so do I need to change it back whenever I stop playing and want to listen to music?

it will showed later ingame after u setting it on ur soundcard driver/from windows sound setting

I just returned home and tried downloading the driver but it says my current one is newer (mine is 0030 and the update is to 0010) so does it mean the driver is already installed?

i got the same number..... did you update from 0030 to 0010? thats make sens?
