BEAWARE OF INVENTORY CHANGER SCAMS

Recently a scammer showed me his rank, medals and skins. He tried to scam me for 100 dollars to buy the knife but as soon as I added him I saw his real rank was MG2 not global

Hello recently I was added by a scammer who showed me a screenshot from cs go with medals and knives. To prove he owned the medals he invited me to a lobby via join link.
Note: he didn’t add me so I couldn’t see his real rank
I saw his rank was global with 1k wins and more with medals from 2015. He told me his inventory was private so people won’t spam him.
I told him to add me and he didn’t know his rank changer only works on lobbies and it is not server sided
I found his his real rank to be MG2 not GE with just 13 wins. And after digging on the internet I saw videos on rank changers medal changers and inventory changers which is used by cheaters and scammers

yeah he clicked an inventory link in the profile info is my bet.
basic internet rule never trust given links.

the guy that was impersonated just had a different rank.

anyway why people fall for such easy tricks is very sad.
there is a perfectly good inventory link provided by valve on every profile.

look you can change ranks,medals and even hours with a certain hack...there is even an inventory changer but its only local mening only you can see it

its basicly like the skin changer but with abit more added to it

its the source code for the medals and skins thats been found and been added to the cheats

so basicly anybody can have any medals on their profile

but once Valve can detected that specific code it wont be fixed until then..enjoy seeing every medal and rank changed around like nothing now XD
