How to improve your internet connection drastically
Start from the MASTER socket in your wall. It has only 2 wires.... A and B and they're colour coded.
Reove them and cut from the very ends and use this cheap tool to punch them back in deeply

Google internet tweaks for lower ping

get a NIC for gaming

get a router / modem for gaming (a 2 way set up is always best). I have a modem going into a gaming router.

Make sure you use ethernet wires not wireless.

Use driver booster to get all the latest hard ware updates (older software can sometimes cause conflicts). This software has only 1 button its just click and go very easy to use.

Use glary utilities to get all the latest software updates (older software can sometimes cause conflicts). You only need to use one button on this software and its the blue up arrow called sotware update.

Use tcpip optimzer and open the software by right clicking and open as administrator and try to set your speed through the slider i.e. if you have 36 meg put 40.

the other tweaks I don't need I been doing those things for 20 years by now.

I replaced my coax wall socket in 2004 because of some troubles I suffered for over a year.
those troubles became more clear after an ISP speed update when I could not login to steam for 3 weeks.

edit: my tip would be get a router that can run 3rd party firmware like DD-wrt

Thanks man I’m always tweaking. I play on high end lap top (can run all top end games) 32ram... big spec but 60hz monitor :( so csgo doesn’t run great on lowest settings. Never stays at 100fps :(

Was gonna update to DD-wrt when I first purchased ma router 5 years ago but I read pros and cons of doing so so I just stuck with the original firmware and they update it very regularly.
That didnt make sense you said those tweeks you dont need but then you said you been doing them for 20 years? if you dont need them why you been doing them for 20 years?

Its worth a try, it doesnt matter how fast your internet connection is or computer you should always tweak your system for gaming. And I would say it would improve it.
