time before teamkilling in spawn

i was wondering how long you have to wait before teamkilling someone in spawn because my teammate killed me 5 seconds after round start and didn't get kicked

but when you teamkill someone in spawn you get kicked even if it'S the first kill

Either:
5sec after round start when you both are outside of spawn
10sec after round start when either one of you in inside spawn zone

False i have definitely team killed annoying ppl as soon as round starts. One awp shot to the head will never kick you on the first spawn kill

That's why they patched it kinda, you need to do at least 2 shots in spawn with teamkill to get kicked, first it was basically tk in spawn at round start triggered cooldown but then people started crying "omg i accidentally killed my mate with awp, volve plz fix" so valve made it that you need to do at least 2 shots

If you type in mp_spawnprotectiontime into console (or whatever the command is which starts with mp_spawnprotection) the server will relay what settings it uses. For official matchmaking servers, the time is 5, or 5 seconds. You have to wait that much time before a round-start TK turns into a normal TK.

You are shooting more than one projectile when you use shotgun
