How does the "Weekly XP Bonus" work?

When playing csgo whether its casual or comp, at the end of every match I get my normal amount of xp and some bonus xp. The amount of bonus xp keeps changing. Sometimes its a huge amount and sometimes its double my normal xp.

The weekly bonus xp gain you x3 xp of initial at first, then x1 xp and after you reach limit there will be no bonus xp at all

You get a fixed number of weekly bonus: 3500 XP given as ×3 bonus and 1500 XP given as ×1 bonus. It resets every Wednesday.

If you achieve too much XP (around 11200 XP per week), you get reduced XP.
