ive noticed the "coupon" tab on the main menu, has it ever been used?

ive played this game for years and never noticed it, seen anyone use it, or even anyone talk about it, what does the coupon tab do and has there ever been a reason to use it? ive never heard of a csgo coupon or even seen anyone talk about csgo coupons

It has been there since at least 2019.
The items offered there are changed every around 5 days.

ok i get it now, its a searchbar to search up items that are usually on the store, for instance putting the word "pins" in the coupon bar makes pin capsules pop up, so it has nothing to do with coupons, they shouldve named it "search" i dont understand what crack valve is smoking but that is nothing like coupon

Every player always had like five random items with some discount for a day or two. that's why it was called coupons. and since panoramaUI there is also a search text field to get all the other stuff you can buy ingame.

But yes, all that stuff is really crammed in that corner there and alot of people never clicked thrue it, I guess. That's why people buy some stuff for a couple cents more on the Steam market instead of ingame directly.

/my/ always links to your sites at Steam when logged in when clicking. /id/my/ was wrong.

Coupons are gone, it seems. last data on my gcpd page is 2020. They could put the "coupon" search function in "store" instead.
