tracker.gg Steam account safety

Wanted to check my stats as always I do from time to time, and noticed that now tracker.gg demands to log in via Steam so they can/will show my CS:GO stats. I like looking at stats, but is this safe? Share your reviews and thoughts on this topic.

If you need to log in using the original steam site, then yes it is safe, But if you need to give your account credentials, then you are gonna get scammed

Also watch out, some sites make it look like it's the original site, but it's just a window in the chrome browser, you can't move it

Don't enter your login data anywhere except official Steam website. Especially on trading/betting websites

I have been using this site for like 1+ years without giving my credentials, but they added this function recently, idk if is this because of Valve keeps stats in-Steam, therefore that site needs Steam log in, or they just want people to log in via Steam.

I didn't get what you mean by "log in using original steam site." At any rate, if you log in on different site, it is different site, like DotaBuff, you should log in, but everyone knows DotaBuff at least the closest site to be called official.

It is not trading/betting site, it is tracking site.

You can use https://csgo-stats.com/ and you don't have to sign in, just look yourself up in the search bar

I was using it last year, it was sooo inaccurate. It doesn't count half of my games. Plus, tracker.gg has way more detailed stats like how many money earned and etc.
