How to set sensitivity in CSGO when coming from PUBG ?
1. There is no HUD in CSGO to see how much degree one person is turning like there is PUBG (E,W,S,N). How would one set the sensitivity then ? I don't want to build up the muscle memory from scratch with new sensitivity in CSGO.

2. With Dpi 450 and sens 1.5, I can't turn 180 completely in CSGO. From around middle of the mousepad it's like 120 degree max(guessing this as there is no HUD). Is it necessary to be able to do 180 within the mousepad ? (I have read about aim fatigue and lazy aiming)

Please guide me

use the game settings, and also unreal engine sens vs source are two different sens ones faster at a lower setting and ones slower at the same setting i recommend 800 dpi at 3 to 2.7 ingame sens personally.

turn the sens up and dpi till you find the one to 180 and quick flick with, since like i said unreal 4 uses a faster acceleration in its sens which is why you turn faster in pubg and fortnite compared to csgo with no mouse acceleration

first, set the sens to 1, bump the dpi until it start feel fast, then tune your sensivity to make it faster a bit (try not reaching 2, if u reach two, bump dpi twice and then reset sens to 1)

Just set +/-1200 eDPI.
With settings between 100dpi x 12sens ....or 16000dpi x 0,08sens.
I strongly recomment option 2, because higher dpi is always better. As i use 16000dpi myself. :steamhappy:

Enable consule

And than write sensitivity x.xxx whatever you prefer

I have 400 dpi with 2.2 ingame sensitivity. And I can do like 160 degree from one end to the other end of the mousepad which is around 10 inches.

You don't need high sensitivity in this game. 180 degree from one end to the other end of the mousepad is enough. :greenlike:

When you have 880 eDPI it's not low edpi but average edpi and when you only can make a 160-180° turn on your WHOLE mousepad it means your edpi is fine but you've a bad little non-gaming mousepad. Invest 15 bucks and get a gaming mousepad which is at least 40 cm(~16 inch) wide.
My mousepad is only 32 cm wide. I am definitely gonna buy a new one. BTW is it really necessary to have a sensitivity to do a 180 in CSGO. I am also planning to play Apex as well. So is turning 180 necessary there too ?
You need 8182 dots to turn 180*.

Most people play around 600-1200 dpi. (Already been said).

You'll want to be able to turn 180* not because you need to turn all they way around that much, but that movement is important in this game and is quicker/easier at higher sensitivities. Most entries on most maps have positions to clear on both sides. There's rushing behind a flash, peeking a corner with multiple angles to cover, jump strafing. These things aren't impossible at lower sensitivities, they are just easier at higher sensitivities. And you don't want to constantly be bumping your keyboard or needing multiple swipes to do simple things.

completely agree with your point here bro.. It's a lot more easier having a little higher sensitivity otherwise I do a lot of arm movements for simple looking around. My aim is weak with even normal sens (e.g.400 dpi with 2 sens). My dexterity is ♥♥♥♥ maybe !! But I am definitely gonna build my muscle memory around comfortable sens than such low sens as my current one.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply me.

Sorry for late reply.
Yes quickly turning 180° really important in CS: GO but anything above 180 degree is useless imo. You just need to have super low sensitivity which is comfortable for you to move around the map and still be able to do 180 degree from one swipe of your mouse on your mousepad and I don't know much about Apex.

Thanks a lot for the tip bro. Having too low sensitivity is tiring as well. My non gaming friends call me lunatic when I turn around a lot or try to control multiple sprays. Currently I am practising on higher sensitivity and for me catching on to low sens was easier than to higher sense from low. But I will catch up for sure.:steamhappy:
