🆘 Market crash and BAD investments 🆘
What is happening with the market, Valve is constantly trying to cut prices. Just about everything starts to return to normal with prices, something new appears and destroys investments (RMR sticker sale, new operation out of nowhere ...). It has become impossible for us "small" investors to make an investment that would eventually lead to a better inventory. Only big investors manage to make some money, although even some of them have problems (remember Lunara). Does anyone have any advice on how to get out of 1000+ RMR stickers as an investment out of each of these with at least if not profit then at least money back and what next?

Please feel free to share your opinion and your advice!

P.S. To be clear, the new stickers are great, Valva's great job, the operation is great because we CSGO fans have an excuse to tell the girl now that we can't go shopping or coffee because there are new missions that must be crossed and a new AK / AVP which must be conquered!

if you are a short term investor you are doing it wrong.
when you invest be willing to sit and wait for at least two years.

Bruh don't expect skins to have real value, let alone a good investment XD

Well, investments (of any kind) are not granted to give good return or to break even. Investing can be considered "smart gambling". Just don't spend more money than you can afford to lose.

Steam market was never meant for "investing" in the first place.

Depends on what your definition of market is. In Steam case, I define "market" as a place, where, like in real life, you go to buy bread or tea. You do it to make use of those items, not to invest in them. But now, everyone thinks its Valve's job to "care" for investors feelings xD

Major stickers have only been really profitable when people hold on to them for a long time (Or when the Chinese market entered CS GO XD). Investing in CS GO items can be pretty risky in the short term too.

the seller invest time and or money in baking bread to sell on the market.
the seller invest money in importing tea and someone might invest in buying bulk and sell it at a profit.
market.

Let's try from different angle - if Steam would design it's market for investing, they would basically had to implement mechanisms required by law, like in case of financial markets, e.g. Wall Street. But this is not the case - they give you just a place for selling/buying items. And sure, people saw that as an occasion to "invest". But this does not make a Steam market a stable place for investing. Hence, my opinion.
