High CPU usage ? crypto mining in CSGO ?
Normaly i have no problems with playing the game.
Since last updates my CPU usage is 100% from CSGO only !!!
Even if i go to taskmanager the CPU uses minimum 98% constantly.
All other programs on background uses 1 or 2 % maximum.
I am starting to think sombody of steam or valve implanted a miner in the software.

Forgot to say my CPU is I5 4670K @ 4.200Mhz 4 cores.

maybe you should set task manager to percentage and then you will see whats hogging all the power

My pc is scanned weekly in safe mode !
And cleaned with Ccleaner every 3 days.
Weekly malwarebytes scan.

It is 100% CSGO !
In taskmanager i sort them on highest usage , and CSGO is on top at 98%.
This only happend after the updates of csgo.

My temps are at 100% usage 50c.
I do test my setup by stresstesting it for a long time !

and no, its some sort of mal/adware, has nothing to do with a hidden miner.
would check my pc for any sort of virus and so on!
ryzen 2700 and no probs here

best recommendation: stop installing every bs that inside of an installer!

I mean, you can do it ofcourse, its not impossible.

But why would you do it when GPU mining is so much better

Set a launch option called -d3d9ex this will reduce cpu usage.
