Why do people switch to knifes and then back to guns the whole time?

Hi, i've seen a lot of people doing that
They do switch from Primary weapon to knife then to pistole then again to the rifle why do they do that?

Is that a CSGO thing to do?

Most people do it to show off fancy knifes. But if your in a hurry to get somewhere eg rotating to the other bomb site to support team mates running with knife is the fastest you can move. Different weapons affect your speed. Try running with the Negev !!!!

its called quickswitch i think i do it all the time its just a cooler way to reload, you have to press reload and just hit
"Q" 2 times when your agent just inserts the mag onto the gun so when you switch to your main gun again your agent will just pull on the lever on your gun and you will be reloaded.

Its just about the play style. Every CS:GO player has a different play style, some of the players change knife-gun all the time some of them do that after getting a kill....etc.

I am understand what you talikng about, i think its just funny, like a bad habbit from what you can't escape.

Most people just do it because it looks cool. Pros do it to keep their reflexes up during quiet moments in a match (i.e sitting staring at a wall waiting for something). Lower ranks think that reload cancelling exists here like in other shooters

You don't actually reload faster, because you still have to wait before you can shoot even if you don't press Q 2 times. But, indeed, you can double tap Q to unscope not just because it's faster, but if you're somewere near a location where there could be an enemy around, right-clicking can give away your position.
