Does reporting people affect your trust factor?

It does if you report a player that’s innocent. Also, spam reporting someone who’s cheating affects your trust as well, so make sure to only report once.

False profile reports do not affect your Trust.

Repeatedly spamming the same profile after the report is cleared doesn't affect your Trust either. But your reports can be weighed less and even ignored.

Since it has no bearing on Trust, sure.

But your spam reports can lead to them revoking your ability to report profiles or at least they'll ignore them instead.

My Trust would be sooooooooo low if reports had any impact on them. But nope, Green for well over a year now.

I´m also green, but after the first match a day after i get reported the next match is always vs. lvl.0 - lvl.5 cheat-accounts.

No, on every acc. / rank i have (all on different computers and ISP´s and different city´s)

And to be honest I report a ton of people. As soon they write something disrespectful I report them for abusive textstuff and especially in DM/DZ plenty of fresh made accs are running around beeing really fishy. Since this is what I play most of the time I probably report like 30 people on a normal day where I play like 2 hours of deathmatch/DZ.

On average I report like one player for cheating each third MM game and 1 per game for abusive chat. So it's plenty. And there isn't a sign at all that I got low or even just mid tf.

I'd say it's more likely than that, yes. That your reports don't really lower your tf (maybe when you literally report everyone over months) but reports against you can have an influence. I noticed that 2 years ago when I played my wingman rank up to global. Played against way lower skilled enemies most of the time and got reported, few hours later people got a warning that my tf is lower.

That beeing said I get reported in very likely every game and we don't meet many throw away accs since half a year. And before some toxic people claim that I'm lying: No. I'm not talking about this account. This account has all games played in non prime. This isn't a measurement at all. I'm talking about my prime accounts.

I know you don´t talk bs.
But for me it´s: 1 match is perfect (all good acc.´s and nice people) but the 2nd match is ALWAYS vs. new made cheat account´s.
I have no idea why after the first match i always have to play vs. cheat-account´s, imo it must be the report´s.... or what else could it be?

To be honest this was the case in my games more than 6 months ago aswell. Every second game was against fishy people. Not always the second one at the day, sometimes the first. (Edit: Btw. it changed when I mainly started using my main acc again, before that most of the mm games I played on my third acc, which is only 3 years old and only has 600 hours. Statistically I've also way more banned cheater in my games on that acc. So my acc was probably the reason why we played against more of those accs)

Maybe it's coincidence, bad luck or something like that. I don't know. For me TF in general is highly flawed and there could be better ways to implement a trust factor system but what do I know. I'm just a user.
