Why are pros leaving csgo?

So many players are leaving csgo to play valo but why? What is causing so many to leave and join teams in other games.

Cs can't be down this bad can it or is it?

Not really 'so many', just 'a few' and for the same reason why Valorant is popular in the first place, except, for the pro scene. CSGO is a higher skill game that's harder to compete in due to how harsh the skillgap is. Valorant's CS for kids. Easier/more random sprays. Floatier movement, character abilities, weak maps. It just gives players who weren't good enough for CS another game to play. As it's missing the highest skilled players, it's an easier game to compete in.

Any pro-players making the switch are just doing so because it's an opportunity to become a tier 1 player and make better cash. They don't care about how fun the game is, it's their job and they'll chase the money.

Obviously by the way your phrasing this and due to your privated account, your trying to promote Valorant but again, nobody cares about that game here. It's a kiddy's pool. This is where adults compete.

10-20 players left, there is a full industry of multiple tiers of teams across the world as well as huge tournament organisezers which have dozens of people under their payroll.

Not to mention that now most tier 1 professional teams have a team around them, or are working towards that. Analysts, psychotherapist, coach, benched players etc.

20 players leaving does not really make any dents into that industry, CS:GO is by far the biggest esport when it comes to betting. It alone hols like 40-50% of total betting on esports.

Valorant's PR is making it look like it's making a dent, sure, for now it looks like in USA it's going to be Valorant but that game is not going to work for EU, I do not think so. I even doubt for US in the long run, it's mostly cause of COVID.

you are right I didn't play that ♥♥♥♥ but I heard enough of it to know it wasn't any different from go other than having ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphics and I really don't know why Im playing this trash, Im having another premade enemy raping us where one of them is a silver 1 and the other ♥♥♥♥♥♥s are boosting him to have an unfair ♥♥♥♥ match... a wonderful game

A quick look into your account tells me you are playing nearly nothing else than csgo. "I heared enough" is quite a nice way to say "I have actually no damn clue.", your poor understanding about how the anticheat works proves this.

Multiple reasons, some were lower Tiered players who simply could not break into top Tier CS and got an offer to play a newer title in hopes of getting to the top and earning more money.
Some like scream or GTR are past their csgo prime and look to make a legacy in another game.

I think all level 0 accounts or private accounts should be barred from forums. It's ok for them to see our profile, but we can't see theirs. right? Or at the very least, private profiles cannot see public profiles, they will be seen as private as well.

Most people will gravitate to whatever is new, plus val is more or less the same game just with abilities. Also, an increase of hackers makes the game unplayable for low tier players, let alone with high tier ones
