Is no one playing Wingman?

Me and my girlfriend wanted to play some Wingman today, we spent over an hour waiting for a game and it never came. Is no one playing it?
There's a pretty big rank difference between us, but in case there is such low amount of players searching for a match, I think the game should prioritize finding you a game, even if it's not gonna be a fair one.

Happens with my girlfriend and I sometimes, and she's mg1 and I'm GE in wingman. It's just a matter of being patient

We're GN4 and S1.
The maps were showing a wait time of like 10 minutes, we restarted it after 30, because the waiting time just kept increasing all the time. We tried two more times, but it didn't help.

No, we live about 100km from eachother. Should definitely be the same region. We've never had this problem before.

wait time is a mess at the moment

also earlier when i jumped on casual there was only 30k players searching for games

assume that the operation missions mean people are doing specific missions and not playing csgo like they normally do hence lower players searching and higher wait times

if there was a wingman mission this week, you probably wouldnt find any issues getting a game, but most players are in the game doing other things

Yeah, that was exactly my thought. Most operation pass holders from Europe (where I am) didn't do their missions yesterday (because they come out late in the evening/at night), so they're doing them today and since there's no Wingman mission, no one's really playing it.

Despite that, you'd think it wouldn't be that hard to find 2 more players who want to play it at any given moment. But that just depends on how well the ranks align. You may get a game instantly or never find one.

Next time we'll do Guardian if Wingman doesn't have enough people.

We just like playing together, just the two of us, so we can talk while playing. Wingman is perfect in that regard, we can play and talk and nobody bothers us (and we don't bother anyone by ignoring our team).
As for experience, I have a lot, but she doesn't have that much. We play quite rarely, so it's really not worth trying to find a different platform than official Wingman servers.
