high precision event timer (HPET)
Im on a intel cpu, i3 3217u, i heard something about disabling HPET could possibly increase fps and/or reduce input delay, stutters, etc.
first of all, is that true? will it work ?
btw im talking about disabling it from the device manager. pls help me ty

Yes it will work. Tests have shown that by disabling HPET by either cmd or Device manager, you get a smoothier gameplay, reduced Input lag and a slight increase in fps

Some guy on reddit claims csgo has a bug or something with other timers and you get desynced on a server.
So idk. Needs testing.
You might get better fps and less stutters, but if ur desynced, you're gonna get shot.

Also full screen windowed mode seems to cause stutters even when yer FPS is 200.. make sure yer on full screen exclusive

Do you have any source for that, I just changed my settings and it doesn't feel different so far
