that reaching prime status could also be done for free is, well, let's say, a questionable decision
It was a bad move bc now they will just make money out of skins and models/agent i still waiting for the command to come out so you can only see reguler models i really hate the models i hate the skins to
I can bet they saw how much money the newset cs got with this model, Like selling skins/models and saw omg how much money we are getting from that
Cod have more, BC it's bigger then csgo
imo, the only thing that valve had underestimated was the number of cheaters that would be attracted by making that game f2p.
Well, many people say the same about their games too.
It doesn't matter what they did or not because before CSGO was free to play people did say, "they want and like cheaters because they will buy the game over and over again".
Since CSGO isn't free to play anymore people start to say sucht things like you now.
The reality is, they didn't have a big choice anymore.
Most other big games are already free to play because real tactic shooters are rare so the biggest competition are Battle Royal games.
CSGO isn't really free to play anyway because they can buy prime now for 10 bugs otherwise they have to spend a lot of time to get prime. So basically, they game is more expansive than before.
The most cheaters I meet still have low accounts, no skins and just a couple of hours, they never would spend any money in CSGO because they would lose it later.
I don't think Warzone/Black ops/Modern warfare has more players as CSGO.
I mean, it has 700k avg players and 1.1 million peak. Warzone would need all players from console too to beat that.
So how i see that you can correct me if you want, Im not out of the correct player count bc in csgo that means faceit, esea, community servers and more "i thinking more on the match making player count" For now when check csgo have around 18k max that are searching match making its still a lot but for cod with the battle royale its around 200k "all platforms"
Ps i can have wrong on the player count for cod thats just the newseter info i can found
It doesn't matter what people play mate. Faceit, Esea is still CSGO and 200k for CoD isn't enough I guess. But as I said, you can't compare the whole franchise just the pc version of it and I don't think they have also 700k avg players.
But that is also a problem of many games outsite of Steam. We don't know any stats of them many times. I like Steam and how many data we have from it.
Just saying that match making its pretty dead the active players are not there they are doing something els im just going for the core game play
