Cheaters are using Bots to avoid OVERWATCH
Hi there,

So I came across this recently in one of my matches, and I was pretty blown away that this is an actual legitimate thing. This is a SERIOUS flaw in the system and the CS:GO Dev team needs to be aware.

So yes. Cheaters are now using "Overwatch Bots" to avoid bans and get others banned. Like I said, I came across this recently in one of my matches where my teammates; which I believe where highly apart of the creation of this whole thing, where extremely, without a doubt, shaking like they had parkinsons - cheating. They all had literally 600,000+ commends, and they where cheating with extremely expensive accounts with skins and 200 level steam accounts.

Also, we had 3,000+ viewers which I found very strange and pointed it out. They said it's apart of their bots, and they are not real viewers. Again, also something absolutely crazy. I wouldn't of believed them if they weren't already blatantly cheating with such expensive accounts and had 600,000 commends. I then asked why they are literally playing so obvious with such expensive inventories as they'll just get banned, and that's when they told me about the Overwatch bots.

Apparently, like the commends and viewer bots, they have thousands of accounts that they use to commend themselves and which apparently now spam overwatch cases, and if you are on their "whitelist" (which you have to pay for) it would vote not cheating on all criteria. And they even have a "blacklist" which will vote cheating on all criteria, so you can pay to get someone banned.

I asked how do they know who's overwatch case they are viewing, as it just shows "Suspect", and they said it's you can already do this, and after some research of my own there a already PUBLICLY AVAILIBLE PROGRAMS that reveal the name and steam account of all the player in an overwatch case, I'm not going to link any sources but you could honestly find this all yourself with a quick google search.

After some research after the game, I found the link on one of the player steam account which led to the website and invite only discord that where doing this. I'm not going to link it but it is called Sinlyxe. And after taking a look around the website, people in the discord and other youtube videos, it seems legit.

Furthermore, the VERY NEXT GAME I came across enemy spinbotters, who where talking in-game how THEY are blacklisted on Sinlyxe and if we report them they will be banned.

Yeah thats it, regards,
Your Pal Finn

Didn't bother reading the whole thing but this should answer it:

1. reportbots do not work and have been patched for a very long time
2. Every overwatcher has an investigator score that is used to weigh their decision in cases. Even if 10 bots managed to somehow find the same exact demo in overwatch and voted on the player being legit, an overwatcher who has answered many cases correctly in the past will "vote" honestly. His decision will have more weight than the bots.

In other words the service is nothing but a scam.

Yes, so if they get reported whilst cheating, they can avoid getting banned via the use of this service.

Reports bots don't work, but are (yet another) great way to make people pay you money for nothing a.k.a. a scam.

On a unrelated note, I sell gold plated cookies worth 10 billion, just wire me your most expensive skin and I'll handdeliver it, coronafree.

I think this is a great thread, i read it over, I am convinced many such scams / bot abuse goes on in all games not just this one. So while it would be nice to find a real non cheat fix its not ethical to think someone won't make another cheat.

Best thing you can do if you come across people like this.

1. Respect each other, Be kind and friendly and maybe ask the offending player if they could try legit a few rounds an test ability without cheats.

2. Take into consideration many of these types of players might be doing this cause they where fed up with other cheaters, already got banned and so implemented countermeasures to not get banned a 2nd or even 3rd time.

3. New an casual players always get caught up in the mix of this type of offense, if your new just get into a new match on casual, plenty to choose from , if your playing competitive... i suggest don't its way to toxic and cheating is goes on very often in competitive as banned players try to cheat there way back up into a higher competitive rank to show off smurf or stolen account.

4.I could see them having a feature to set overwatch bots to ban anyone with a certain skin, might be how they deal with item theft. Once bot overwatch see's a weapon skin it can identify the account, also a way to make items more valuable , and then jack the price up, cause everyone who has that skin gets banned, and once sold the player who bought the skin joins a game plays a few weeks or month then gets over watch banned on time delay.

Mean while I am sure the bot would track the overwatch case and say , "I seen this skin and it was reported on this date", might even have a feature that tells them when Vac is going to update and roll bans out.

Since the hacker has the bought item APIkey of skin buyer ,

- they set up the bot, for the APIKEY scam, Convince said player who's Apikey they already a have from the purchase to set up a trade and they are about to get account banned cause of that skin.

"Hurry trade that skin to a new account before you get banned for it."

then when player goes to trade the account the bot auto switch the trade details steals all the items on the players account when they accept the trade, and then a few or so after grief on forums the players account gets banned cause of the Overwatch Case. Makes the player suspect and then voids any legit claim of Theft.

Bots are the only thing keeping most games running.. "Bot Lives Matter" Without Bots our world will not Survive people are to subject to time, Bots are Eternal.

Bots are also used as a huge marketing tool on games to promote "Real User" numbers Boost to social media sways.

Bots are also used to Create -neg appeal on all things in the world, Ad Companies employee all sorts of devious tactics to make you like or dislike products and companies, some even target -neg campaigns vs manufactures that drop them. Currently its same thing as Media Hype, it is my honest opinion the 200,000 counterstrike players who play daily are actually 160,000 bot accounts

Typical game 8 real users , 12 bots Per match

Peek hours 16 users, 4 bots Per match

Off hours, 4 real users 16 bots Per match

law of averages says outta 20 people 4 would offend which is 1 in 5 while i find it really "Odd" that over 120,000 accounts never seem to log out of Counterstike,

I can only Speculate.
