Why do i derank after 2 loss?

I literally won 12 matches in a row, after like 8 or 9 i ranked up to DMG for the fourth time. today i lost 1, won 1 again, and then lost 2. I deranked. The people i play with as well as the people i played against always had the same rank like me. I always was second and first with lots of MVPs.

I really dont get that system. I always rank up to DMG winning lots of games and then i derank after losing a ridiculously small amount of games. Can someone explain it to me??

when other players get banned for cheating your games get nullified, you lose points, hence the derank, its the same if you went on a 12 game losing streak and deranked

It's a hidden point system and when you just ranked up you are always close on a derank. Like driving 59km/h, you've in the 50's rank, you drive 2km/h faster up to 61km/h and are in the higher km/h rank (60's). You drive 2 km/h slower and are in the 50's again.

And the ranking system isn't based on wins but rounds. Winning twice with 16:14 won't have a positive effect when you lost 16:0 once etc.

and again, if any of your past games had cheaters in the games get nullified and the points get nullified, you rank up, meaning you just past the rank up mark, if 10 games in the past have been nullified, thats 10 games of points gone instantly and pulled you back into the previous rank area

do you want the honest answer? its because they rank you based on team preformance which makes the ranking system trash.

i dont think any cheaters were banned in my recent matches, i mean i didnt get any notification and youre supposed to get one in a blueish notification window, arent you?
