Fix🔧not receiving Overwatch XP & notifications.

If you are still experiencing issues while getting no notification messages about accurate verdicts submitted & qualified for an Overwatch Investigator XP reward which you also can't collect at the end of a match on official servers? I need a few people to check if it's helping.

Solution attempt 🔧

• 1. submit at least one ow verdict
  
• 2. backup your files
  
• 3. disable steam cloud sync(!)
  
• 4. uninstall the game(!)
  
• 5. re-install the game(!)
  
• 6. submit at least one ow verdict
  
• 7. receive notification and xp again

background story:
I personally did not face this problem but many people and my friend aswell until he reinstalled the game. He got the notification and all the xp rewards at the end of his next match. (~24h later)So his solution was to remove & reinstall the game itself in order to receive xp reward's again.
I mean technically seen it sounds too weird but he had this problem multiple times fixed by reinstalling. multiple times - how would it be coincidence?


So if you are facing this issue, just follow this solution attempt by reinstalling the game to see if you get the notification (..accurate verdicts submitted & qualified for an Overwatch Investigator XP reward..) again.

let's see if it's a fix for someone else too, otherwise it sounds like a possible "ow-bot flagged account" to me? I'm not sure what's going on for many people at this time. Is actually everyone who's not receiving ow-xp & notification's marked/flagged as an ow botter?

Solution = reinstall the game (uninstall and install it again!) and check if you now receive the notification and xp, otherwise submit more ow cases. (this process can take up to ~24-72h I guess)

I have to admit that after the fix I sped up some cases of confirmed spinbotters because blatant and I hate wasting 10 minutes of my life having to sit through a blatant spinbotters game at normal speed, nonetheless if I get OW working again I will try to do cases without touching the controls menu and see if it helps (tbh though, if that's the case I think I'll stop doing it because as I said I can't bear with watching full 8 rounds of HvH games..)

You get rewards based on the accuracy of verdictS after caseS got resolved. Plural. You do not get xy XP per case instantly after that one case was solved.

I know how OW do work.. past year it has been worse than ever before..

So I can confirm that it works.

I did roughly 400 OW cases in the past 1 til 1.5 years and I never got any XP at all. I reinstalled CSGO on saturday and since then did some cases and I just now received the message that I got OW XP reward:

So yeah, it works. Maybe not for all, but for some. It's clearly not "a troll".

Mhhh... do you shift + f2 when you see a spin bot?
Cuz if that triggers the problem they should fix it. Maybe with a "spin bot" option that ends the OW case review.

Yeaht this is a huge thing. I wonder why valve still didn't post anything about it. In terms of trust factor they were quite vocal in the past 1.5 years.

I did it most of the time before reinstalling, but now always. Since I reinstalled csgo I usually just minimize csgo and do something else and let the case go through without doing anything.

bait thread, do not believe - you're wasting your time reinstalling the game.
although somebody may be lucky doing this, this didnt work for me with doing over ~40 cases in 2 weeks.

When you don't recieve xp & notifications yet, you have to do more cases after reinstallation. If you get no xp at all you probably voted wrong or any other reason.

He thinks everything that happens on the forum is just one big conspiracy against him, best to just ignore him. It seems to be working fine for most others.
