Streaming after Prime Update ?! [Streamlabs]
Hello everyone,

I am a streamer and I am just wondering what options to stream CSGO now is better ?

I use stream-labs and use display capture, but I have sometimes very minor lags in-game which annoys me sometimes.

And YES it is possible to stream with Game Capture but only in untrusted Mode and I don't want to lower my trust factor and play against toxic & cheaters :)

Any Ideas or suggestions ?

Kind Regards

I don't know what your current setup exactly is but I know that you can just use a deticated capture card, though they cost a lot and maybe aren't worth it.

You just put those capture card like this:
PC Video out>Cable>Capture Card>Cable>Monitor

It may add a bit of delay but you can use trusted mode and such and reduce load on the main gaming PC (If you use another PC (or laptop) to stream everything)

CS GO now consider streaming software a bit intrusive when captureing CS GO only.
Yyou have to either set up CS GO to ignore that, with -allow_third_party_software which dent your trust factor, or use a capture of the whole monitor, which is a bit more ressource heavy

just disable preview in your OBS/streamlabs and screen capture will stop introducing input lag. you just won't see a preview of what is being streamed, but if you only use one scene it doesn't matter at all and even if you do, you can just re-enable preview between games to tweak stuff.

This way, no need to buy an expensive capture card or ruin your trust factor by using -allow_third_party_software

from streamlabs twitter:

"You can disable the stream preview on Streamlabs OBS so it does not show the preview of what your stream will see. You can do this by right-clicking next to the preview and click on Enable Performance Mode."

And what about gamecaster? I stream also using catching only csgo.exe not the whole monitor. Is that the same issue?
