Matchmaker needs to stop pairing randos vs 5-stacks

It's complete nonsense. A 5-stack has a huge advantage. No other FPS game in 2021 pairs 5 total randos against a premade group.

This game has a huge amount of players. It should be by far easy enough to only match groups against other groups.

Look at that! The 5-stack has the HIGHER AVERAGE RANK! On top of being a 5-stack!

How the hell is this supposed to be fair?

And claiming that it's because of matchmaking times, that's just BS! I play with a wide variety of 5-stacks, involving the largest possible rank differences, and finding a match in prime time Europe in these ranks never takes more than at most 2 minutes.

Matchmaking times are not the reason why these bad matches are made.

The reason is that Valve's matchmaker does not take group size into account at all. It just doesn't. It assumes that 5-stack is equal to 5 random players.

And that is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Honestly kills all motivation to even try when you're playing well and just keep losing rounds because your team has much worse executes and worse communication than the opponent team.

You just blame everything but yourself for losing smh, I would tell you to get some friends to play with but the way you behave I wouldn't be surprised if you don't have any like damn... If they'd implement a system so 5 stacks play against 5 stacks and people without friends like you play against other lonely randoms then the queue times would exceed the 10 minute mark if you want good ping, and if you feel like playing only 1 or 2 maps it would probably exceed 20 minutes like bro imagine being this dumb please ffs just stfu.

This is a bad argument. All things equal, 5 stack clearly has an advantage over 5 randos. 5 stack is more likely to communicate, more likely to execute at the same site, less likely to have leavers, etc.

If you belong to your rank - that is, your skill represents the rank you are given in the game - you're put at a disadvantage when you're placed with randoms vs a 5-stack.

That's nonsense. Valorant, Overwatch, etc, don't put 5-stacks vs randos and CS:GO is way more played game than they are. CS:GO is the most played game on Steam! It could easily make matchmaking a bit better without upping the queue times.

Even when I queue as a 5-stack, it's very rare that finding a match takes more than 2 minutes. When I queue solo, it's rare it takes more than 30 seconds.
