Valve's New Anti Cheat had FINALLY been released

After all the demands from the players of the CS community about getting a better anti cheat, VALVE finally delivered and there new anti cheat is guaranteed to halt all cheaters in it's tracks.

The new anti cheat is very simple. Its a message that displays when you start Ranked games.

PLEASE DON'T CHEAT.....


There you have it folks. Valve's stern stance and let's see how many people begin to whine on servers now that they have been TOLD not to cheat.

Yeah. They totally dropped the ball making stats by subscription: they could have introduced something like premium servers with rarer drops and 128 tick for $2 a month instead.

Vac works, prime is bullsh. I played since 2014, no cheats, not toxic but still im stuck in cheater hell since end of 2020. idk what happened there but before the operation i had almost no cheaters. Now i get to play with lobbies full of hacks. Wtf is this.

Does VAC work?

Reality: The simple fact is, for all intents and purposes VAC does work. Even community measured metrics show that[steamdb.info], relative to the growth of Steam and the popular games, so have the amount of cheat bans. The real number is likely even bigger.

Everyone except the cheaters and Valve wants a working Anti Cheat. Sadly there seem to be more cheaters that real players nowadays. Cheating is virtually without any repercussion unless you use a free cheat or spinbot every game. VAC sucks and dont catch even the easiest cheats. VACnet cant even reliably autokick a spinbot, something a line of code would do reliably without any problem.

Just for the record, CSGO has 23,5 million players.

But wouldn't it better in that sense when vac really would ban all cheater? Imagine 99% of the cheater would get a ban after like 2 weeks. That would be way more profitabel than banning sometimes after 6 months or even more than 12 months - or never. So even when you're right that valve makes money off of cheater it would be worth it for valve to make it even better which contradicts that valves makes so much money and do it on purpose.

Not to mention the negative impact on the majority of the playerbase, the legit players, the ones actually spending money.

Most cheaters won't be spending money, knowing they're gonna get banned.

but remember, Valve like any other business is still a business. I am not saying Valve is doing what Rotten Ronnies is doing, but they "could" be. We don't really know. If you have a game where cheaters makes you more money than legit players, it makes it hard for some people to do the right thing. They are in First Gear thinking (Look up Dave Howlett on Youtube for gear thinking, it's a great idea on how to approach life)

Cheating isn’t some magical source of income for valve. If anything it loses profits for them

Cheating isn’t some magical source of income for valve. If anything it loses profits for them

I know what you are saying and again, I am not saying valve is doing something similar, but a big company like Mcdonald's IS doing it.
