so I play 1000DPI on 2.2 sens
2.2*1000=absolute sensitivity
DPI really doesn't change how good you aim..
Also the "absolute sensitivity" has a mechanical favor range which is closely between 700 - 1100 and widely between 400 - 1400. Most good player have roughly 900 eDPI (sensitivity * dpi) which is mechanically the optimum for close and long range fights.
- Res doesn't change the sens
- You shouldn't adapt to your mousepad but should buy a bigger mousepad when it's a tiny one. You can get a decent one for 3 euro already
- Mice also doesn't change what sens you should use
- Wrist and arm movement also doesn't change it
- You shouldn't play a week testing out a sens. That is wasting your time. Brains are awesome and they will adapt within minutes
Also people below 700 eDPI are usually only pro entry fragger while lurker, igls and awper have 900. Entries have lower eDPI because they need to have precise aim in front of them, awper have higher sens to turn around from flashes while beeing in scope.
This video will tell you everything in detail and I as an ex pro, coach and analyst approve it:

less pixel stepping.
but remember to adjust your sensitivity.
also, eDPI /= DPI
