Why pro players don't use Agents in Tournaments?

I am pretty sure it can create confusion when you have an player model that looks either Terr or CT. How many times have you died, because you hesitated on firing on someone to find out its actually the enemy. Quite a few player models make it hard to tell the difference.

no because some agents are too camouflaged in different maps. Any CT agent would not look like a T, also there are name tags above teammates.

There are some models that look neutral a bit. Hard to tell right off the bat if it is CT or T, and when you do finally realize who it is, it is too late.

It's definitely due to visibility issues. Some agents on some maps can really blend in in plain sight.

They are not allowed on third party sites because they give people advantage.

before, when there was a train in the map pool, I saw some about players with agents, but now they really don't use it

On mm at least it would be ok to have an option to check, to see the default models.

If MM is trying to create a competitive scene, why don't they follow suit in official MM as well?

There were visibility issues for some agents models which could be abused in some spots on some maps. A while ago (with the boost player contrast patch) this problem was solved, but at that point they were already banned from tournaments. But recently someone rumored that they will be introduced in the next major (makes sense since they're fixed).
